Not even seven years has elapsed since the adoption of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA, colloquially known as “Obamacare”), and the implementation of the associated regulations that trig-gered numerous changes for insurers, providers, and patients across the health care landscape. Donald Trump’s election as America’s 45th President, accompanied with the election of Republican majorities in the House and Senate, could upend the business of health care for the second time in a decade.
